Volunteer At Events
Usual Duration: 4 hrs
Interested in being an event volunteer? This would include working events like Green Guardians which happen every couple of months, helping at fundraisers, etc. If this sounds interesting to you click the bottom to let us know and we will be reaching out shortly.
Role in the Non-profit
We love to see the community get involved and make an impact. One way you can do this is by becoming an Ambassador. This could mean a variety of different things, we would go over your preferences when we get in touch. Some examples could be organizing events/fundraisers, starting a Leaders of the Next Generation club at your school, starting an initiative of your own, having a community project, or even researching. There are many other things you can do as an Ambassador. As a youth-led organization, we encourage that everyone gets involved! This being said, if you know others that might be interested in an opportunity like this, let them know! We always appreciate help with community outreach :)
Bridge of Books
Duration: 2 hrs a week
Interested in Bridge of Books? This is our community program where kids are matched to be pen-pals and read a book together. Each month there is a different country the kids read about and then we have virtual meetings to do fun activities! Some options for volunteering with Bridge of Books is attending this 1 hr meetings three times a month and/or helping create the presentations and activities.
